Effective: August 21, 2026 · Operator and controller: HY Kaizen Consulting, 45768 Safflower Crescent, Chilliwack, BC, Canada V2R 0H6 · Privacy Officer: admin@hykaizenconsulting.com · 604 9977073

1. Who we are

Prowiso is a professional-learning platform operated by HY Kaizen Consulting. This policy applies to prowiso.com, the Prowiso platform, membership, trial, invitation, checkout, support, and related communications.

2. Information we collect

3. Why we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide trials, purchased modules, and memberships; process and confirm payments; maintain learning access; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; improve reliability and user experience; meet accounting, legal, and security obligations; and send service communications. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and can be unsubscribed from.

4. Consent and legal bases

We collect, use, and disclose personal information with consent or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law. We follow the privacy principles applicable to Canadian commercial organizations, including British Columbia’s private-sector privacy requirements and PIPEDA where applicable. Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, processing is based as appropriate on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, support, and product reliability, provided those interests are not overridden by individual rights.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We share only the information reasonably needed for service providers to perform their functions. Key providers include Cloudflare for hosting, security, and database infrastructure, and Stripe for payment processing, subscriptions, invoices, and the billing portal. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, in a business reorganization, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws and lawful access rules of that jurisdiction.

7. Cookies and sessions

Prowiso uses essential cookies or similar storage to keep members signed in, preserve language and currency choices, secure the platform, and remember necessary preferences. Additional analytics or advertising technologies, if introduced, will be described and managed as required.

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including active access, customer support, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Information is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated when no longer required.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information, including access controls, secure transport, hashed credentials, restricted administrative functions, and managed hosting infrastructure. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy; ask how information has been used or disclosed; withdraw optional consent; object to certain processing or direct marketing; or raise a privacy concern. We do not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We may need to verify identity before acting and may retain information where legally required. You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

11. Children

Prowiso is designed for professional and adult learning and is not directed to children under 16. A person who has not reached the age needed to enter a binding subscription in their jurisdiction may use the service only with authorization from a parent, guardian, or organization that is legally able to provide it.

12. Incident response

We investigate suspected privacy and security incidents and take reasonable steps to contain and correct them. We notify affected individuals and regulators when notification is required by applicable law.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the platform, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.

14. Contact and requests

Send privacy questions, access or correction requests, deletion requests, consent withdrawals, or complaints to the Privacy Officer at admin@hykaizenconsulting.com, call 604 9977073, or write to HY Kaizen Consulting, 45768 Safflower Crescent, Chilliwack, BC, Canada V2R 0H6.
